When you register your interest through this website, we collect and process the following information:

  • Your email address

  • The organisation you work for (if provided)

  • Your responses to the sign-up questions, including your preferences for how you'd like to take part and whether you wish to be added to our circulation list

  • IP address (automatically collected)

  • Web browser type and version (automatically collected)

 

We do not collect payment or card details, as the challenge is free to take part in.

 

How we get your personal information and why we have it

 

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you when you complete the registration form on this website, for one of the following reasons:

  • To register your interest in taking part in the Every Move Counts challenge

  • To receive updates and information about the challenge, if you have opted in to our circulation list

We use the information you give us in order to:

  • Confirm your participation and contact you with the information you need to take part

  • Match you into a team if you sign up without one

  • Send you updates and information about the challenge, where you have consented to receive them

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

Sharing your personal information

To run the challenge, we share limited personal information with the following third parties:

GoJoe — The Every Move Counts challenge runs on the GoJoe app.

 

When you take part, you share your name and email address with GoJoe so that you can be invited to join the challenge and your activity can be counted.

 

GoJoe is a separate data controller for the information it processes, registered with the ICO (registration number ZA877813) and operated by GoJoe App Ltd.
